For almost 100 years, the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences Texas Affiliate (AAFCS-TX) members have been working to improve the quality and standards of individual and family life by delivering educational programs, influencing public policy, and conducting research. You will see AAFCS-TX members in all walks of life—they are early childhood, elementary, secondary, university/college, and Extension educators; administrators and managers; human service professionals; researchers; community volunteers; housing and home interior professionals;  entrepreneurs; consultants; and in other career settings and content  areas of our profession that touch the home and heart.
